Winning Women Wednesday: 11/3/2021
Join Lady Renee Flowers of Transformation Community Church for this week’s Winning Women Wednesday, where she talks about “Encouragement for Broken Hearts”. We hope you’ll be blessed by this timely and inspirational message. Many blessings!
I don’t know what pain you’re walking through today, but what I do know is this: God sees you; he cares about you, he loves you, he knows each tear you’ve shed and He’s there to comfort you.
Psalm 34:18 “the lord is close to the brokenhearted and he saves those who are crushed in spirit. . .”
So, when your heart is feeling broken/shattered into pieces…you can talk to God about it. We can have a little talk with Jesus and be open, honest, and transparent about our feelings.
I know sometimes when we’re hurting, we tend to withdraw and keep to ourselves…so much so, we don’t even want to talk to God about it. But God knows our pain better than anyone. He was denied and betrayed by those closest to him. He too has suffered from a broken heart, so he understands. He came from heaven to earth in human form. He knows what we go through, and he desires a relationship with us. And if we have a relationship with him, we can go before him without any shame, embarrassment.
Hebrews 4:15-16 “for we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin. Let us then approach god’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
When we share our pain with God, we invite Him into our situations and He heals our hearts and pours out His love in ways only He can. We must give ourselves time to heal, be patient with the healing process.
Ecclesiastes 3: “there’s a time for everything and a season for every situation under the heavens. A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.”
Your pain and sorrow will not last forever, dancing and laughing will come again. Joy comes in the morning. Know and remember: God is faithful and He is close to the brokenhearted.
