Developing The Art of Perseverance

Perseverance: To persist/endure despite difficulties-delays-failures and oppositions.

Hebrew 10:36 “We need to persevere so that when we have done the will of God, we will receive what he has promised.

We must value the quality of perseverance in our lives, and we must learn to develop perseverance as we’re on this Christian journey.

The art of developing perseverance is through TEST~TRIALS~TRUST

We can’t persevere w/o TEST~TRIALS~TRUST. Tests and trials make us stronger. We all have had and will have our share of tests and trials, but we must persevere/endure despite our TEST and TRIAL

James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trials because having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

Romans 5:3-4 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

We must push through, and TRUST God is with us and will help us through. Not all our battles-troubles are external or visible, some are internal/unseen struggles. But it’s when we persevere through tests- trials-troubles do we grow as Christians.

Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the Lord forever for the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.

Trusting in the Lord helps us to develop perseverance.

Trusting in God helps us to navigate through difficulties.

Trusting God allows us to have endurance and strength.

Trusting God is a safe haven for us.

Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times, you people, pour out our hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
