INVITE THE HOLY SPIRIT IN

Here’s what the bible says about the Holy Spirit: John 14: 15-18; 26

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15  “If you love me, keep my commands.  16  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—  17  the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be [c]  in you.  18  I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 26  But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

The role of the Spirit in us is to remind us of the Words of Christ, He
is actively doing the work of Christ and was sent by Christ to dwell in believers.

Indeed God, The Holy Spirit is a Wonderful Helper, He helps us in our weakness.

The bible says that the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words, and it is the fruit of the Spirit that we should desire and chase:

Our entire life as a believer is determined, influenced, guided by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit convicts us to change our lives and turn away from sin.

So, to those of us who may ask how do I walk in wisdom and not fall back into my old ways? Start by inviting The Holy Spirit in to help you. He will help you to remove the desire of sin and will help you walk in the Spirit.

He will give us the strength to fight those tempting desires of the flesh.

Live with boldness as a fearless Christian in these evil days. The Holy Spirit gives us power and authority. He is our helper and again, he helps us to understand God’s will for our lives.

The key is for us is to be willing to be absorbed and filled by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit challenges us, He challenges us to do right—you know that still small voice saying …. you need to pray today…. have you read God’s word…? don’t do that…. don’t say that…. don’t go there…don’t listen to that or don’t watch that… The Holy Spirit challenges us to examine ourselves.

It’s a beautiful thing to have the Holy Spirit and welcome Him into our lives.

Let us pray for the Holy Spirit to fill our lives, to lead us and guide us, for His presence to be real and made known to us in our daily walk with God.
