Keep God First. Join Lady Renee Flowers of Transformation Community Church for this week’s Winning Women Wednesday, where she talks about “Keeping God First”. We hope you’ll be blessed by this timely and inspirational message. Many blessings!
Keep God first and you will lack for nothing. Keep God first and let him rearrange our priorities and he will rearrange your life. Change starts from the heart.
God is interested in our hearts, not our looks, our bank accounts, where we live or drive or how we dress, or how much education we have or how much you’re giving.
God wants us to give him the throne to our heart. And he will change our desires and enable us to be truly satisfied in him. Take a moment to think about what’s important. In the grand scheme of things everything on this earth is temporary. None of it will last, but God’s kingdom, love and faithfulness will never end. He is the only one worthy of our devotion. He is the only one we should be focused on.
No matter what everyone else is doing, we should keep God first and our focus on him.
No matter what season of life you’re in, keep God first and trust him. The treasures of this earth are passing away. All our earthly pursuits are temporary and it’s only what we do for Christ will last.
So, let’s keep God first and store up our treasures in heaven where nothing can be destroyed. Jesus said seek first the kingdom of God and the rest will be added to you.
He will provide for our every need. We just need to trust, believe, and have faith.
We must walk by faith and not by sight. Because we by ourselves are blind and faith is our vision. I once was blind but now I see. Not my will but thy will, that’s faith. Faith is letting go and letting God. Faith is casting our burdens onto Jesus and releasing our doubts, our insecurities, our worries, our troubles, and our situations/circumstances to God.
Faith is he substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Faith is our belief. Faith comes in the release. When you decide to keep holding on to your problems, holding on to your worries, your fears and frustrations; God cannot intervene. How can he touch your situation when you’re holding on to it? How can God intervene when you’re taking ownership of it all? So, release it to God. Releasing all things to God, means releasing your faith.
