"Power and Authority"

Winning Women Wednesday: 2/23/2022

Power and Authority.  Join Lady Renee Flowers of Transformation Community Church for this week’s Winning Women Wednesday, where she talks about “Power and Authority”.  We hope you’ll be blessed by this timely and inspirational message.  Many blessings!

I’d like to encourage you to be bold. Too many Christians are timid and feeble because they don’t know the power and authority that they have in Jesus Christ.

Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy nothing will harm you.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I encourage us to hold on to the word of God, hold on to these promises and let them stir up our spirit. No longer should we be fearful and timid, no longer should we consider ourselves helpless and powerless.

Jesus Christ has given us authority, the authority to trample on the devil and his demons. He has given us the authority to overcome all power of the enemy. So, listen it’s not our portion to be fearful as children of God. It’s not our portion to be timid Christians.

Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, He has said I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy nothing will harm you. Let this be the reason why we are fearless and bold. Let this be the reason why we don’t give up in the face of adversity and let this promise in Luke 10:19 be the reason that we pray with power.

We gain strength, courage, boldness when we know the word of God and practice prayer. So, when you think of power when you think of courage and strength think of prayer.

When you think of prayer think of power think of strength and courage because as children of God when we pray that’s when we are empowered that’s when we are revitalized.

More prayer, more power. If you want more power, pray more. That’s why the bible tells us, to pray without ceasing, the bible also tells us to watch and pray so that we won’t fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. There is power when we pray. Prayer binds us with God. Prayer empowers us to be able to live out Philippians 4:13 which says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Prayer empowers us to overcome temptation. It builds character in one’s life and so if you desire to live a life that is full of courage and boldness and strength, get to know the word of God and once you know the word of
the Lord

Pray, be constant in prayer, pray without ceasing. Devote yourself to prayer and remember that we have authority in Jesus Christ.
