Trust in The Lord and Do Good. Join Lady Renee Flowers of Transformation Community Church for this week’s Winning Women Wednesday, where she talks about “Trust in The Lord and Do Good”. We hope you’ll be blessed by this timely and inspirational message. Many blessings!
Psalm 37:3 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. God is sovereign he can do anything he wants to do. And what’s so amazing is that he has decided in his sovereignty that he wants to be partners with us. He doesn’t just want to do everything himself, but he wants to do things through us.
He’s given us a free will. God wants us to use our free will to choose his will. That’s the high calling on our life. So, if any of us wants to go to hell God will protect our right to do that.
It’s a decision that we all get to make, and we all get to be responsible for the decisions that we’ve made.
God really wants us to trust him and make our choices according to His word.
Satan wants evil people to do evil things so that good people or well-meaning people gets hurt, which leads to bitterness and a life full of hatred wanting to get revenge. But we’re smarter than that. But we try to deal with our own enemies, take matters in our own hands. But where does that get us??
It’s a big WOT: Waste of time…. trying to get back at people who hurt you, being angry and bitter and full of hatred
Listen, as long as we are trying to defend ourselves or get revenge or get people back, God cannot help us.
as long as we are hating people, against people mad at everybody bitter because of the things that have happened to us, blaming life, blaming God, even blaming the devil doesn’t really work because if we just sit around and blame and we don’t take any responsibility then the problem never gets fixed.
We can’t spend our lives hating, being bitter and trying to get revenge-God said vengeance is His. We must allow God/trust him to do what he says. We too busy wanting to do God’s job.
Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD and do good. You say you’re trusting God but are you doing good? Are you forgiving? Are you praying for your enemies during your pain? Are you being a blessing to somebody else?
You saying you’re trusting God but see that’s not enough. We must do good as well. We must always represent Jesus the way he tells us to represent him. No matter what’s going on in our lives.
God’s word is medicine. Psalm 107:20 He sent out his word and healed them, he rescued them from the grave.
We must take God’s word like medicine and whatever is ailing you. Trust fixes pretty much everything, there isn’t a problem-issue or circumstance that God’s word cannot take care of.
The bible is our written prescription, written by Dr. Jesus. In Psalm 37 we have a prescription of Trust in the Lord and a prescription of Do Good
The patient is whosoever…the dosage is take as many as you need and for as long as you need to. The refills are endless. And just know there are some serious life changing side effects: -Peace -Joy -Stability -Strength -Confidence and an overall better life
So, the next time you get a little upset take a dose of Trust and Do Good, next time you get mad at somebody take a dose of Trust and Do Good, when you lose your job take a dose of Trust and Do Good. When people lie on you and talk about you take a dose of Trust and Do Good. Amen.
The scripture says Trust in the Lord and Do Good. .
Trusting God is knowing he’s trustworthy and you come to know he’s trustworthy by taking your medicine/reading the Word of God daily.
